Rental Terms

These Rental Terms explain the main conditions for vehicle rental and reservation transactions made through ÖZSE Rent A Car. Final terms may vary depending on vehicle class, rental period, delivery and return location, payment method and the rental agreement signed at delivery.

1. Reservation and payment

During reservation, the customer selects the vehicle, pick-up and return locations, dates and optional services. The displayed amount is calculated according to the selected period, vehicle class, campaigns, delivery fees and payment currency. Full payment or a predefined deposit may be collected to complete the reservation.

2. Deposit and remaining balance

For deposit-based reservations, only the upfront payment shown during checkout is collected online. The remaining rental amount may be collected at vehicle delivery or through another agreed payment method.

3. Driver requirements

A valid driving license, identity card or passport may be requested at delivery. Driver age, license age and additional driver requirements may vary by vehicle class.

4. Vehicle delivery and return

The vehicle is delivered at the location and time stated in the reservation. Fuel level, mileage, existing damages and equipment are checked during delivery. Late return, different return location or use outside the agreement may result in additional charges.

5. Insurance, damage and additional fees

Insurance and liability terms may vary according to vehicle class and agreement scope. Additional driver, child seat, airport delivery, different location return, fuel difference, late return, traffic fines, tolls, cleaning or damage may be subject to additional fees.

6. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation and change requests are evaluated according to availability, payment status, campaign conditions and time remaining until the reservation date. Deposit refunds or offsets may vary depending on the reservation type and cancellation timing.
